Maker's statement: This piece was thrown on a kick wheel and is made from local clay dug close to my home. Quartz stone found on my property is also included in the clay body. The glaze used is natural ash and the bowl was fired for 80 hours in an anagama-style kiln, using a mixture of messmate gum, silver wattle, and tea-tree.
